Just in-case one gets layed-off and has an EAD, can that person buy a 7-Eleven or a Gas Station?
Can the EAD holder actually run the gas station/7-eleven by working/being present there? (Maybe he/she can work there and take all the profit but no salary).
What happens if there is an RFE asking for proof of employment during this period?
Can you not think anything other than a gas station or seven eeleven ? Come on guys think out side the box. I don't have a great idea to suggest you to begin with but I know gas station and grocery stores are very typical desi ideas

I did answer your question in my first post and asked you a question on which you replied:
There is a website called Google. Its amazing in that it is above nationality and responds to every "what is..."
I'm answering your question, and you are being sarcastic - what do you expect?
Well friend.. If you are not aware of any specific culture or any nation's tradition in specific, then please dont comment anything.
Happy Diwali was targeted for the readers who cared to understand it at the first place. and BTW you NEVER answer any of his questions to start with..
Directing a newcomer to Google search is NOT a intelligent answer if you thought you answered any of his questions..
Never mind.. I think you got my message.

If you are going to stay 2 yrs in Canada, you might as well spend 1 more yr and become a Canadian citizen.
I actually have a similar question. I am in the exact same situation. The question is that in this case if you have an H1 stamped in your passport, is it ok to travel to US on that H1 ? or would you need a B2 tourist visa to travel ?
I am asking since technically you are employed by same employer but you are getting paid by Candian payroll not US Payroll.

Hi Chirupally,
I had similar RFE where USCIS wanted doctor's original signature.
Doctor's filled out a new form (latest version) with all the information from the old form.No test were done again. But they signed the new form with OLD date.
Did your doctor sign the form with new date?
Also, are you including the old original form that you received in sealed envelope with RFE?I am include the ONLY the new sealed envelope that has latest form as the doctor discarded the old form.
I did not receive old form. I just received the gold color form and the letter stating whats RFE about. I guess since only partial information is missing, they did not send me back the old form. I have not received the new forms from doctor yet. I will get it today. I guess he is going to sign with today's date only. Hope this answers your questions.

http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3269.html
As I feared, the questions about lost, returned, missed, mislaid and vanished visa numbers went unanswered in this bulletin. There is a vague reference to the returned visas while in truth 1) visa numbers have been returned to DOS
2) there is no real proof that even majority of claimed visas had been used by CIS. It is left to Ombudsman in 2008 to cry over the numbers that would be lost by sept 2007. Basically, the relief from fiasco benefits those who are filing 485 and CIS (in terms of hiked EAD/AP fees for next 4-5 years for each 485 applicant).
I believe that in a master move CIS (and maybe DOS) has buried the skeletons for good now. This has become almost like a game of chess. With each bulletin, CIS is becoming stronger and nastier like Voldemart!

Sounds familiar. Family friendsfailed to file for an I94 extension on time. I believe they are here on a tourists VISA. Their VISAs are valid for 5 more years. They have not been expired for more than 180 days (right now around 120). How "automatic" is their return I94 if they leave and come back? We are willing to sponsor their return and have financial means as necessary. Argentina is their birth country. Help!!

PVGanesh,
Yes, affidavits or letter on employer letterheads from your colleagues about your progressive experience should suffice. For EB2 you need to prove that you have Masters or Bachelors with five years of progressive experience.
Good luck.
Cheers
