My H1B was approved for location A (MICHIGAN),ONE MONTH AGO.Now my employer wants me to work in location B(PA).My question-
Do I have to wait until labor is approved for location B or can I start working from monday and labor(for location B) can come in 10-15 days thereafter.I am a PT.

My wife currently is on an H1-B visa and she also has EAD/AP based on my I-485 filing. Due to personal reasons she plans to quit her job soon (next 2-3 weeks or so). What will be her status? Should we be filing COS to H-4? Can we get a RFE for proof of her employment when I-485 is processed?

I am a July filer and have the option of working for a reputable company as expert consultant for 6 months (initial offer). Yates memo indicates that self-employment is possible. Here is my question: Do we need to register a company to be considered self-employed? As a consultant you may not have a customer for while. Isn't it better to register a company if you want to claim self employment? What are the pros and cons of registering a company?

We filed a dependent I-485 for my wife while she is on a F1 status. She has a EAD card (but my I-140 is pending). My understanding is that once she finishes school, she will not be able to get an OPT. Does it mean that she can accept employment using the EAD even though the I-140 is not approved?

In case my I-140 is denied, will she lose her status and would have to leave the country?

My wife who is a derivative applicant for the GC is employed on EAD. She has been advised to go on a pregnancy short term disability leave by the doctor. We live in California and her company provides the short term disability through the California SDI.
Is it ok to claim this while having applied for GC. Is the SDI by any chance considered a public charge? Any help would be appreciated.

The AC21 determination of whether a new job is in "the same or similar occupation" is made based on a comparison of the new job duties and those set forth on the original labor certification application. Job titles are not controlling. So, you need to have a copy of your original LC application and then compare the job description it contains to the duties of the new position.

Spouse I-485 Receipt Notice.
Applied I-485 for my wife in the first week of September (8th Sept) when the dates became current, but haven't received the receipt
number yet.
I got an RFE (EVL) on my application which I submitted on 21 Sept. USCIS received the response on 22nd Sept and updated the case.
I am little worried that whether USCIS has received her application or not. Is there a way to find out, whether I can open an Service request or take an Info Pass regarding this?
Any suggestions will be helpful.
